The children group members of Kalidanga village were invited to participate in the Gram Sansad meeting of Basanti Gram Panchayat of South 24 Parganas district. The meeting was held on 11th November, 2023 at Panchayat office. Children highlighted the issues such as child marriage, children leaving schools due to economic problem and child labour. They also suggested few actions. Panchayat members attentively listened to the children. The children group in Kalidanga villages has been facilitated and capacitated by SPAN during last three years.
