Few could slice open the real story of suffering of the predominantly Nepalis, Mudas and Oraos beyond the beautiful lush green tea plantation. This endemic incidence is taking the lives of thousands of Children off their childhood. Between 2000 and 2015, 17 closed tea gardens in North Bengal has the same saga. The despair of the Children continues when the closure of “Hilla Tea Garden” was announced in the month January 2018. More than 300 children are posed with couple of more agony and denial to turn their freedom in servitude. Society for Peoples’ Awareness (SPAN) is committed to the protection of children but the resource is minuscule to protect these lesser God.
