Nari-Shakti is the federating platform of the women councils promoted and encouraged in the villages and urban slums of different districts by SPAN. Nari-Shakti observed International Women's Day on 8th March, 2024 in local areas of Purulia, South 24 Parganas, Coochbehar and urban Slums of North 24 Parganas with it's member as well as local duty bearers such as ward councils, Panchayat members, Asha Karmi, etc. Issues of women participation in work as well as in decision making process at families and society was discussed everywhere. Nari-Shakti members commits to promote these two areas among it's women members in future days.
