SPAN Launches 100 Days Campaign for a Child Marriage Free India in Kalimpong

SPAN successfully organized a “100 Days Campaign on Child Marriage Free India” through an impactful tableau in Kalimpong district, spreading a strong message against child marriage and promoting children’s rights. The programme was inaugurated by the District Magistrate of Kalimpong, Kuhuk Bhusan, who appreciated the initiative and described it as a positive and significant step toward making Kalimpong district free from child marriage.

The event was also graced by Birendra Thapa, representative from the DCPO office, along with SPAN Kalimpong staff members.

This campaign aims to raise public awareness about the harmful effects of child marriage, encourage community participation and strengthen collective efforts to protect children’s rights
